ALPHORN & ORGAN |
Carlo Torlontano alphorn
Francesco Di Lernia organ
The Duo "Alphorn and Organ" was created for the friendship but above all for the great respect that I feel for Francesco Di Lernia, one of the best italian organ player of his generation.
The purpose of our Duo is to offer an original proposal to the Organ Festival so to introduce an unique recital in their Seasons of Concerts.
Furthermore we are very proud that our proposal has also been welcomed with great enthusiasm by so many International Music Festivals and Chamber Music Season.
Some Festivals gave us the chance to use an Chest Organ so that the audience could appreciate the sonority and also to admire the beauty of our instruments.
An unique and original proposal that introduces a programme of high quality.
Every piece of music is attentively selected and discussed with the organizers also and especially according to the possibilities of the Organ to disposition for the concert.
The concert programme features, alongside the works for Alphorn and Organ, also classical music for solo organ from the Baroque to the present. |
